In the more than 120 countries where we operate, there are guidelines and laws that gambling providers must comply with. We strive to go beyond the required standard in each of these countries.
At VBET, you’ll find information, tips, and various tools to help you keep your gaming behaviour under control. With our information and tips, we raise your awareness of the risks. With our special tools, you can set your own limits, so you don’t go beyond your financial and time limits.

Our license from the Dutch Gambling Authority
Essential to our services is our license from the Dutch Gambling Authority (Ksa). This license allows us to offer games of chance in the Netherlands. It also guarantees that you can play safely with us.
What does our Dutch license mean for you?
Every legal gambling provider in the Netherlands holds a license from the Dutch Gambling Authority. A provider only receives this license if they comply with the strict rules set by the Kansspelautoriteit.
A license from the Ksa means the following for you as a player:
- The game is fair; the outcome is not influenced by the provider.
- Depositing and withdrawing funds is safe and fast.
- Information is exchanged securely and by EU regulations on data protection and privacy.

- Every player must be verified so the provider can confirm the player’s identity and ensure that the gambling funds were obtained honestly. This helps prevent identity fraud, money laundering, and terrorism financing.
- Promotions (24+) come with fair terms and conditions.
- There is a strict policy in place to prevent minors and other vulnerable groups from gambling or being exposed to gambling advertisements.
- Customer support is easy to reach and always ready to assist you.
- In case of a dispute with the provider, you can turn to an independent authority.
- The provider takes a proactive approach to preventing and addressing problematic gambling behavior. If needed, a player can easily register with the Central Register for the
- Exclusion of Games of Chance (CRUKS) to self-exclude from gambling in the Netherlands.
With a provider that does not hold a license from the Ksa, you don’t have these guarantees. The outcome of the game may be manipulated, your winnings can be withheld, and you may find that Customer Support is unresponsive. If you then have a dispute with the provider, you also cannot turn to the Ksa for help.
That’s why it’s important to always play with a licensed provider.
The Remote Gambling Act (Koa)
The rules that online gambling providers must follow are described in the Remote Gambling Act (Koa). This Koa outlines the guarantees mentioned above for players, in the form of guidelines such as the duty of care, conditions for gambling advertisements, and the powers of the Ksa.
Role of the Gambling Authority
One of the responsibilities of the Dutch Gambling Authority (Kansspelautoriteit or Ksa) is to monitor compliance with the Remote Gambling Act. Through regular inspections and spot checks, the Ksa ensures that providers are following the rules. If a provider breaks these rules, the Ksa can, in serious cases, issue fines or even revoke licenses.
In addition, the Ksa is committed to combating illegal gambling offerings. Illegal providers pose a major risk to both players and society as a whole. To fight illegal gambling, the Ksa not only takes action against the providers themselves, but also prohibits advertising agencies, media companies, and even banks from doing business with them.
VBET's Tools for Responsible Gaming
As you’ve seen above, responsible and safe gaming is something we do together. We do our part by ensuring a secure and fair gaming environment. At the same time, we ask you to take responsibility as well.
These are the tools that help us achieve this together:
- Limits: When creating your account at VBET, you are required to set limits:
- Session limit: This defines how much time you want to spend playing per day, week, and/or month on VBET. Once you reach this limit, you won’t be able to continue playing.
- Deposit limit: Set a limit on how much you want to deposit daily, weekly, and/or monthly. When you reach this deposit limit, you can no longer add money to your account. However, you can still play with the funds already in your account.
- Balance limit: Set the maximum amount of money that can be held in your account. Any amount above this limit will automatically be transferred to your bank account.
- Reality Check: During your visit to VBET, you may see the Reality Check pop-up. This message shows you how long you’ve been playing and how much you’ve won or lost. You’ll then have the option to continue playing or end your session.
The Reality Check doesn’t appear at fixed times but is shown when we believe it’s necessary, as part of our duty, to inform you about your gaming behavior. - Time-out: If you feel like you’re struggling to step away from playing, set a time-out. During a time-out, you won’t be able to log in or play at VBET. Once activated, a time-out cannot be reversed. You can choose a time-out for one of the following periods:
- 24 hours
- 1 week
- 1 month
- 2 months
- 3 months
- Permanently
Where can you find the tools for Responsible Gaming?
The tools to help you control your gambling behavior are always just a few clicks away. You can find them in your account menu.
Here’s how you can do it:
- Log in.
- Click or tap the account icon at the top of the website or app.
- You’ll then see the following:

- Mobile website: Tap on “My Profile.” Here you’ll find options such as limits and time-outs.
- App: In the account menu, tap your name at the top of the screen. This opens the menu where you can access the different limits and the time-out option.
Note that if you want to increase a limit, a legally required waiting period applies. If you want to lower a limit, that can be done immediately.
